Lakeview Tekapo has been designed and purpose-built in 2010 with our Guests' comfort in mind.
We are situated just a short walk from the lakefront, Lake Tekapo Regional Park, our famous Church of the Good Shepherd & high country working dogs monument and the Lake Tekapo township.
Each of our luxury self-contained suites enjoys absolute and uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and the lake’s surrounding mountain ranges. One of the best scenic vistas in Lake Tekapo!!
Lake Tekapo is ideally located in the centre of New Zealand’s South Island, and conveniently half-way between Christchurch and Queenstown, both being a comfortable 3 hours drive in their respective directions. Timaru, on the east coast, and Mt Cook, west towards the Southern Alps, are both a comfortable 1.5 hours drive in their respective directions.
Lake Tekapo is the perfect stopover point along State Highway 8, or as a holiday destination to either enjoy outdoor activities or just kick back for some rest and relaxation.
